Serving on the Board

Interested in serving on the ASPE WI Chapter Board of Directors? All non-student members of the WI chapter are eligible to serve on the chapter board. Elections for each position are held on a bi-annual basis during the May meeting of even years (2026, 2028, 2030, etc.).

The chapter election process is as follows:

  1. Interested parties should reach out to the previous president stating their interest in being included on the ballot by the end of April during an election year.

  2. The previous president compiles the names of all interested parties into an official ballot. The ballot is then published in the May newsletter, giving members an opportunity to review the candidates.

  3. The previous president administers the election virtually throughout May. All members will receive notification by email and asked to vote. Write-ins are accepted.

  4. The previous president will tally the votes and present the election winners by the end of May.

  5. All transition of positions will take place after the May meeting but before the September meeting.

The following positions are electable positions:

  • Chapter President

  • Vice President – Technical

  • Vice President – Membership

  • Vice President – Legislative

  • Treasurer

  • Administrative Secretary

  • Corresponding Secretary

  • Affiliate Liaison

The following positions are appointed by the board. If you have an interest in serving in any of these positions, please reach out to any of the board members to indicate your interest:

  • Newsletter Editor

  • Website Manager

  • ASPE Young Professionals Liaison (AYPL)

  • Women of ASPE Liaison (WOAL)
